Until 30th January, you are able to help him out by collecting as much as 1000 phantom doubloons daily though skilling, killing, Daily Challenges and Treasure Trails. You’ll get a much better drop rate (+20%) if you are training Agility or Thieving.

As using the Fallen Nihil event, you are able to up the daily cap or buy more with RuneCoins in the booster shop, accessible through the Seasonal Event tab around the Social interface.

Hand them directly into Deathbeard every day and unlock Deathbeard’s swashbuckling pirate outfit – along with a phantom variant – along with a cannon pet.

Deathbeard’ll hang in there for a further fourteen days after the big event before he heads to terrorise the Seven Seas, letting you unlock rewards or submit any excess phantom doubloons for mystery boxes.

Ironmen can participate in the big event and unlock the outfit and pet, but won’t be able to open mystery boxes, or convert excess doubloons into mystery boxes post-event.
